Article III. POOL AND BILLIARDS |
§ 10-101. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Billiard room and pool hall mean any public place where a person is permitted to play the game of billiards or pool and for which a charge is made for use of the equipment.
Billiards means any of several games played on a table surrounded by an elastic ledge of cushions with balls which are impelled by a cue and shall include all forms of the game commonly known as carom billiards, pocket billiards and English billiards.
